Editorial Policy
Krevo publishes seller-pricing calculators and explanatory guides. Our goal is to show what each model includes so a seller can reproduce the arithmetic and identify missing costs.
Methods and assumptions
Calculator pages state their inputs, units, formula and limits. Percentage-fee examples apply the rate to item sale price; they do not represent every marketplace’s fee base. Margin uses sale price as its denominator, while markup uses cost. Dimensional-weight examples use the divisor entered and stop before a carrier’s rounding or minimum-billing rules.
Sources and example values
Use current marketplace fee statements and official carrier terms to verify charges for an actual transaction. Krevo does not automatically import those schedules. Example prices, fee percentages and shipping divisors illustrate a method and are not universal rates, recommendations or promises of profitability. We distinguish illustrative scenarios from a source-specific claim.
Drafting and checks
Initial text was prepared with AI assistance. Arithmetic checks compare known scenarios with calculator output, including losses, zero denominators and invalid inputs where relevant. A calculation can be mathematically correct while omitting a real business cost; guides explain this distinction rather than treating an output as audited net income.
Corrections and updates
Report a problem through the contact page, including its URL, input values and the output you expected. Changes to a formula or worked example should be checked for consistency across related pages. Review dates should reflect substantive review, rather than automatic freshness claims. Our methods do not imply continuous monitoring of platform prices or carrier rules.
Advertising and independence
Advertisements, when shown, are separate from explanatory content and calculator inputs. An ad is not a Krevo recommendation. A sponsored or affiliate relationship should be disclosed on the affected page and must not change the arithmetic or be presented as an independent product test.
Limits
These resources explain general calculations, not tax treatment, accounting certification or individualized business advice. Consult the records and qualified assistance relevant to your decision. Read our terms and privacy policy for further information.
